"Everything's Beautiful Now" were some of the last words spoken to me by my mother-in-law Darleen as she prepared to "round the final bend." The title song is written in her voice - I simply transcribed much of what she said and what I sensed from her during those quiet afternoons sitting at her bedside.

Over the last several years I have experienced the loss of many people close to me. As painful as it is, there is a richness and transformation that comes from not just facing, but embracing, this important life passage.

This album is a tribute to the loved ones who sailed away to new horizons, and to the ones who are still here with me. I love you all.

In memory of John Albert, Darleen Gage, Beth Gammage, Skip and Everett Madin, Becky Biard, Caryl P. Weiss, Sudie Campbell and Sarah Elizabeth Campbell; also Pat Spears, Mark Austin, Bryan Ice, Guy Gillette, Steven Fromholz, Larry Monroe, Rod Kennedy, Jack Hazzard and many more in our extended circle of friends.

Special thanks to Jamie Anderson, Daren Appelt, Steve and Sheri Basore, Charlie Deaton, Dale and Jackie Dingley, Mike and Molly Hatchell, and Maggie and Alton Warwick for taking a leap of faith with me; to Sue Ennis for your instincts and lyrical guidance; to Jerry Jeff for channeling my life story and letting me fine tune it with you and to Eliza for singing (and living it) with me; to my son Troupe – it’s a joy to sing with you; to my Recording Academy, Mystery Monday, Albert, and Gage families; and to my musical compadres on this album and on stages everywhere.

Eternal love and gratitude to Chris Gage for being my musical, spiritual and emotional sounding board and r sfopending so many hours at the sound board to help me realize this vision.
