"...each song is a gem. Christine’s enunciation is impeccable, enabling the listener to translate the French verses and follow the lyrics in the well-designed graphic booklet. Moreover, there are enough familiar songs that listeners can maintain interest even if their French is less than minimal. Overall, this is an interesting album that Christine Albert fans are going to like very much. Edith Piaff would like it, too."

In 1992 in Austin, Texas I recorded TEXAFRANCE, a musical tribute to my family (with roots in France and Switzerland) with the help of my Texas musical family.  These two worlds merge once more on this latest offering, "TexaFrance - Encore!".  The journey continues.

A "grande merci" to all of our investors who provide much more than just the resources whith which to create, to my mother Betty Albert for the assistance with translations and pronunciation (not to mention love, support and my European blood) and to Chris Gage, for his musical and personal gifts.  Thanks to Claire Spring, Greg Harbar, Jacki Thomas, Stephen Mills and Olivier Giraud.  Love and gratitude to Edith for the eternal inspiration.   Enjoy, Christine Albert
